This base-mounted end suction pump utilizes a class 30 cast iron casing and a bronze impeller to facilitate fluid movement. The assembly incorporates a dry shaft design, which prevents circulating fluid contact with the shaft, while a bronze shaft sleeve protects the stainless steel shaft. It maintains a pressure rating of 125 PSI without the use of a wear ring. The pump includes a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat and EPT rubber to provide sealing at the shaft interface.
The 30 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operates at 1750 RPM and integrates Aegis grounding, powered by a 380-460V / 3PH supply, with a DOE PEI rating of 0.44. The 'S' in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
