This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump assembly consists of a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design and is configured with a mechanical seal featuring a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pull-out design allows for maintenance without disturbing system piping, while the top center-line discharge simplifies piping layouts.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor is mounted in a 213 JM frame with feet and requires a 575V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply. This motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and features an across-the-line starting configuration. The assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and has a PEI of 0.87.
