This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, a cast iron casing, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent system fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. A rear pullout design permits servicing without disturbing connected piping, and the top center line discharge configuration assists with self-venting. This pump includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply with across the line starting and is built on a 286 JM frame with feet. The motor incorporates AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and provides a PEI of 0.94.
