This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump assembly includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal is constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The design incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout configuration allows for servicing internal components without disturbing the connected system piping, while the top center line discharge assists with self-venting and reduces piping strain.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 2 HP WEG motor. It features a 145 JM motor frame with feet and an ODP enclosure. This unit is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency requirements consistent with MG1-12.55. The overall energy performance is rated with a PEI of 0.83. The unit uses across the line starting and is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature.
