This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 4" suction and 3" discharge ports, incorporating ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and circulating fluid. A mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components seals the assembly. The pump includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration assists with self-venting.
The pump is driven by a 5 HP Baldor ODP motor in a 184 JM frame with feet, operating at 1750 RPM. Electrical configuration is 200V, 60Hz, 3PH with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is rated for 40°C ambient temperature and provides a DOE PEI value of 0.89.
