This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction port and a 4" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly consists of a cast iron casing and cover, a stainless steel impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design and includes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump is rated for temperatures up to 250 °F and includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on both suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing the internal components without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge configuration assists in reducing piping strain.
This unit is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 254 JM frame with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across the line starting configuration. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature. The DOE PEI value for this pump is 0.92.
