This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing and cover, a stainless steel impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal with a tungsten carbide seat, carbon rotor, and Viton rubber. This unit operates with clean water up to 300°F and includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The design incorporates a dry shaft to isolate the pump shaft from circulating fluid and a rear pullout configuration for service access without disturbing system piping.
This pump is powered by a 40 HP WEG motor with a TEFC enclosure, mounted on a 324 JM motor frame with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with an across the line starting configuration. The motor is designed for a 40°C ambient environment, NEMA standard, and CCW rotation, and it includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements. This equipment has a pump energy index (PEI) of 0.94.
