This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. The pump design incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft configuration to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections and supports flush seal line taps.
This unit is configured with a 30 HP, 1750 RPM TEFC motor by WEG in a NEMA 286 T-frame. The electrical requirements are 230-460/60/3 with an across the line starting option. It features a welded base with an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This pump assembly has a PEI value of 0.97 and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
