This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. The unit utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
This pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP WEG ODP motor in a NEMA 213T frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3 with a 40°C ambient rating and across-the-line starting. It meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that features an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A Woods coupler connects the pump to the motor, which utilizes greasable bearings. The pump rotates counter-clockwise as the standard configuration.
