This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller housed within a cast iron casing and cover. The unit includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that eliminates contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. It is equipped with a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly provides flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections, and the rear pullout design enables servicing without disturbing system piping.
The pump is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and operates at 1150 RPM. It is configured for a 230-460V/60/3 power supply with an across the line starting option. The motor utilizes a 254 JM frame with feet and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. This unit includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is designed for 40°C ambient conditions with counter-clockwise rotation.
