This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve in a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal is composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. This assembly includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and is serviced without disturbing system piping.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor TEFC motor that meets NEMA premium efficiency MG1-12.55 standards. The motor is a T-frame style in a NEMA 184 frame, configured for 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across-the-line starting. The motor features AEGIS shaft grounding and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment. It is mounted on a welded steel base with an integral drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a standard guard. The pump efficiency is verified with a PEI of 0.85.
