This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction connection and a 4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The construction includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump casing is configured for center-line discharge and does not include a wear ring.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 60 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply. The motor utilizes a 326TS frame and meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. It is equipped with AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan, an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. The pump is rated for across the line starting, functions in a 40°C ambient environment, and maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.93.
