This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. The pump utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It is configured with a mechanical seal comprising a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and features flush seal line taps for system maintenance.
This equipment operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 324 T frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3 with across the line starting. The motor complies with premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, utilizing a Woods coupler. It is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and maintains a DOE PEI of 0.92.
