This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction port and a 3" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly utilizes a cast iron casing and an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump design includes a dry shaft that prevents contact between the system fluid and the shaft, as well as flush seal line taps for the installation of an optional filter. The top center-line discharge design simplifies piping layouts and enables self-venting, while the rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP, 200V, 60Hz, 3PH Baldor motor. The motor features an ODP enclosure and is mounted in a 256 JM frame with feet. It is configured for across the line starting and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and operates in a 40 °C ambient environment. This configuration follows NEMA standards and utilizes CCW rotation. The pump has a DOE PEI of 0.91.
