This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent system fluid contact with the pump shaft and includes an easy-to-replace, slip-on shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly features a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Additional features include a rear pullout design, top center line discharge, flush seal line taps for particle filtration, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump is powered by a 2 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor TEFC motor configured for 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz operation. It uses a JM frame style with motor feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding for premium efficiency compliance with MG1-12.55 standards. The motor is NEMA standard and operates in a 40 °C ambient environment. This configuration has a DOE PEI rating of 0.83 and utilizes an across-the-line starting option.
