This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 6" suction and 5" discharge connection. It utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the internal shaft. It is configured with a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes a bronze wear ring and ANSI Class 125 flanges, with pressure tappings provided on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP WEG motor with a TEFC enclosure and NEMA 326 T-frame. The electrical configuration is 380/60/3, suitable for across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that features an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The motor is rated for 50°C ambient temperatures and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards. This equipment carries a DOE PEI rating of 0.93.
