This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. It uses a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller with a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge configuration. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump design includes a rear pullout feature for servicing, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. This unit is rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F.
The pump is powered by a 10 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 215 JM frame with feet. It operates at 3450 RPM on a 230-460/60/3PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor is configured for a 40°C ambient environment with across-the-line starting and counter-clockwise rotation. This model has a DOE PEI value of 0.87.
