This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, a bronze wear ring, and a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a slip-on bronze shaft sleeve to prevent system fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal is constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump housing includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping, and the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 30 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured with a 284 JM motor frame style with feet and across-the-line starting. The motor is compatible with a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This pump is rated for fluid temperatures up to 250 °F and maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
