This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The assembly utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, supported by a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The pump casing is constructed of cast iron and includes an integrated bronze wear ring. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and NEMA 215 T-frame. It is configured for 230-460/60/3PH power supply with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler. This unit has a DOE PEI value of 0.91.
