This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 6" suction and 5" discharge connections configured with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft protected by a bronze shaft sleeve. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This assembly is rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The pump is constructed without a wear ring and provides pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is configured with a 15 HP Baldor TEFC motor mounted on a NEMA 254 T-frame. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with an across the line starting option. The unit features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards with a PEI of 0.92. The pump is installed on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The system is suitable for 40°C ambient conditions and uses counter-clockwise rotation.
