This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing an operating temperature limit of 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings for suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 75 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and NEMA 365 frame. It is configured for 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power with an across-the-line starting option. The assembly includes a welded structural steel base with an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a guard. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This pump model carries an HI Energy Rating of 10 and has a DOE PEI of 0.9.
