This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction connection and a 2-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. The pump incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve, maintaining a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250°F. This unit includes gauge ports at the suction and discharge connections, along with flush seal line taps.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 1-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 182 T-frame. It functions on a 230-460/60/3 power supply using across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A Woods coupler connects the pump to the motor, which is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures and rotates counter-clockwise. The unit features sealed-for-life bearings.
