This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The unit includes a cast iron casing, a bronze wear ring, and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve in a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The pump is constructed to allow for maintenance without disturbing the system piping.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 213 T-frame. It is configured for 380/60/3 power with across the line starting. The pump is secured to a welded steel base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler covered by a standard coupler guard. The motor meets premium efficiency requirements as defined by MG1-12.55 and has a PEI value of 0.88. The assembly is rated for 40°C ambient operation and complies with NEMA standards.
