This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump includes flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout design to allow for servicing without disturbing the system piping. The top center line discharge configuration assists with self-venting and reduces piping strain.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a drip cover. It uses a NEMA 184JM motor frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets premium efficiency standards under MG1-12.55. The electrical configuration is 230-460V, 60 Hz, 3PH with across the line starting. The assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and maintains a DOE PEI of 0.94.
