This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge ports. It uses a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve in a dry shaft design. The pump is equipped with a bronze wear ring and ANSI Class 125 flanges. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor ODP motor in a 213T NEMA frame. The motor supports a 230-460V/3PH/60Hz power supply and utilizes across-the-line starting. The assembly includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring and a Woods coupler for connection between the pump and motor, protected by a standard coupler guard. The pump is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan. This model meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards with a PEI value of 0.91 and is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment.
