This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing equipped with a bronze wear ring. The pump includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal is constructed with a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and it supports operation in temperatures up to 250°F. This unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and it utilizes a rear pullout design to allow for maintenance without disturbing system piping.
The pump is configured with a 5 HP Baldor motor and operates at 1750 RPM. It uses an ODP enclosure and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor is a JM frame style with feet and operates on a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. This model has a DOE PEI value of 0.87 and utilizes an across the line starting configuration.
