This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge ports, both with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at 250°F. This unit incorporates a dry shaft design and operates with a standard counter-clockwise rotation.
The pump is powered by a 1 HP Baldor Super E TEFC motor on a NEMA 143 frame. It runs at 1750 RPM on a 230/460V 3PH 60Hz power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor complies with MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding for a 40°C ambient environment. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan, using a Woods coupler and a standard coupler guard. The unit is EISA compliant, with a DOE PEI of 0.92 and an HI Energy Rating of 8.
