This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing and an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout design permits servicing without disconnecting system piping, and the top center line discharge assists with venting and piping alignment. Flush seal line taps are included to allow for the installation of an optional filter.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP WEG TEFC motor with a 284 JM frame with feet. It is configured for 230-460/60/3PH power with across the line starting. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit operates at a 40°C ambient temperature with a counter-clockwise rotation. This pump has a PEI of 0.97.
