This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a stainless steel impeller with a 6-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. The rotating assembly utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal comprised of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This seal is rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 1 HP Baldor TEFC motor housed in a NEMA 143 T frame. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The system is configured for 230-460/60/3 power with across the line starting. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA. This pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.92 and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
