This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing and cover, a stainless steel impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The design incorporates a dry shaft construction and a mechanical seal consisting of a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and Viton rubber. This unit handles clean water at temperatures up to 300°F and is equipped with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It includes a 5" suction connection and a 4" discharge connection. Integrated flush seal line taps allow for the installation of a filter, and pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP WEG TEFC motor in a 284 JM frame with feet. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply and utilizes across the line starting. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts and reduces strain. This equipment maintains a pump energy index (PEI) of 0.92.
