This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter. The assembly uses a stainless steel shaft and a stainless steel shaft sleeve, incorporating a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and it is rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP TEFC motor. The motor is configured for a 230/460/60/3 PH power supply, is mounted on a NEMA 213 frame, and utilizes an "H" power frame size. It includes a Woods coupler, a welded base with an integrated drip pan, and a standard coupler guard. The motor is a WEG premium efficiency model that meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is EISA compliant with a DOE PEI of 0.86 and an HI energy rating of 14. It uses across the line starting and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
