This close-coupled end suction pump comprises a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The assembly incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents circulating fluid from contacting the shaft and utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve to facilitate seal maintenance. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat half and EPT rubber. Designed for operation at pressures up to 125 PSI, the casing integrates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
The motor is a 10 HP Premium Efficiency TEFC unit operating at 1750 RPM with Aegis Grounding, power supply of 380-460V / 3PH, and a DOE PEI rating of 0.45. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
