This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It is configured with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal comprised of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at 250 °F. The internal construction uses a dry shaft design that prevents system fluid contact with the shaft, while flush seal line taps allow for the installation of a filter. The rear pullout design permits servicing without disconnecting system piping, and the top center line discharge simplifies installation and enables self-venting.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP WEG motor. It is configured with a 213 JM frame style with feet and an ODP enclosure without a drip cover. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3 with an Across the Line starting option. The unit operates at a 40 °C ambient temperature under NEMA standards with CCW rotation and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and the pump has a PEI of 0.87.
