This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, maintaining operational integrity at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes a dry shaft design and integrated pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 15 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 254T frame with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding and a 40°C ambient temperature rating. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler with a standard guard. This unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.93.
