This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The pump includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller housed in a cast iron casing and cover. It uses a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The unit operates at temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping, while the top centerline discharge reduces piping strain. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections, and the pump includes flush seal line taps for particle filtration.
This pump is configured with a 10 HP WEG TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM. It runs on a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply and features an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The motor is mounted in a 215 JM frame style with feet and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The ambient temperature rating is 40°C with standard counter-clockwise rotation. This model has a DOE PEI value of 0.96. The configuration includes an across-the-line starting option and no drip cover.
