This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a cast iron casing, an 11" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller, a stainless steel shaft, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump includes a bronze wear ring and a mechanical seal composed of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This seal configuration supports fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly provides center-line discharge for air venting and uses a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the pump shaft.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and NEMA 254T frame. The motor is rated for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. It is configured for across-the-line starting and includes an AEGIS shaft grounding device. The motor and pump are mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and are connected by a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA. The assembly operates in a 40°C ambient environment with counter-clockwise rotation and has a DOE PEI of 0.87.
