This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable stainless steel shaft sleeve, incorporating a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided on both suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor TEFC motor on a NEMA 256 T-frame. The electrical configuration supports 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that features an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler covered by a standard guard. The pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.93 and uses an across the line starting option.
