This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. Maintenance is supported by a slip-on shaft sleeve and a rear pullout design that allows for servicing without disturbing system piping. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections are included.
The pump is driven by a 5 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure, a drip cover, and AEGIS shaft grounding. It operates on a 230-460/60/3PH power supply. The unit is configured with a JM motor frame style with feet and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The pump assembly provides a PEI value of 0.84.
