This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing, a stainless steel impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250 °F for clean water applications. It incorporates a pump volute with center-line discharge and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 75 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 364TS frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply and includes Across the Line starting capability. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded steel base with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The pump utilizes a Woods coupler and greasable bearings within the bearing frame. This unit maintains a DOE PEI of 0.94.
