This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings for suction and discharge connections and flush seal line taps.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is a NEMA 182 T-frame style and is configured for 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across-the-line starting. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base with a drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This assembly has a PEI value of 0.91 and operates in a 40°C ambient environment with counter-clockwise rotation.
