This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge connections. It uses a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The unit incorporates a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump casing includes ANSI Class 125 flanges, a bronze wear ring, and gauge ports at the suction and discharge connections. The design utilizes a dry shaft configuration to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid.
The pump is powered by a 7-1/2 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor TEFC motor. It is configured for a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply and features an across-the-line starting option. The motor is a NEMA 213 T-frame style, includes AEGIS shaft grounding, and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This pump has a DOE PEI of 0.94.
