This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft protected by a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The design incorporates a dry shaft configuration to prevent the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft and provides pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP WEG ODP motor in a NEMA 213 T-frame. It is configured for 230-460/60/3PH power and features CCW rotation with across-the-line starting. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler with a standard guard. This unit is rated for 40°C ambient conditions and has a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
