This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 5" suction and 4" discharge connections. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. The pump includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal with a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, suitable for clean water at temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly incorporates ANSI Class 125 flanges, a dry shaft design, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge configuration assists in self-venting.
This pump is configured with a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 213 JM frame style with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and utilizes an across the line starting configuration. This equipment has a DOE PEI of 0.91.
