This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction port and a 3" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The unit includes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. This pump is constructed without a wear ring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor TEFC motor on a NEMA 256 T-frame. It accepts a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply and uses an across-the-line starting configuration. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding and a 50°C ambient rating. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and uses a standard Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. This equipment has a PEI value of 0.9.
