This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump casing is constructed of cast iron and houses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It uses a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact with circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a Ni-Resist seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 182T frame with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply and utilizes across the line starting. The assembly includes a welded base with a drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This configuration features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, with a DOE PEI of 0.88.
