This base-mounted end suction pump is constructed with a cast iron casing rated for 125 PSI and integrates a bronze impeller. The assembly utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve, employing a dry shaft design that prevents circulating fluid from contacting the internal shaft components. Sealing is managed by a ceramic and EPT mechanical seal. This unit incorporates a replaceable wear ring and flush seal line taps to protect internal components from particulate matter.
Powered by a 7.5 HP premium efficiency PMAC TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM with Aegis grounding, the assembly runs on 380-460V 3PH power and maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.46. The S in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
