This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction connection, a 4" discharge connection, and an 11" nominal impeller diameter. The pump casing is constructed of cast iron and includes ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. The rotating assembly consists of a bronze impeller, a stainless steel shaft, and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The construction incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM using a 15 HP Baldor TEFC motor mounted on a NEMA 254T frame. This motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The electrical configuration is 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH, with across the line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This assembly has a PEI value of 0.97 and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment.
