This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 1-1/2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing and cover, a stainless steel NSF61 impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the system fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly includes a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. Flush seal line taps are integrated for optional filter installation, and pressure tappings are provided on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disturbing system piping.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a JM style frame with feet. The motor meets NEMA standard requirements and provides premium efficiency as per MG1-12.55, including an AEGIS shaft grounding feature. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3PH with across the line starting, suitable for 40 °C ambient temperatures. This equipment is configured with a counter-clockwise rotation and has a DOE PEI of 0.86.
