This close-coupled end suction pump comprises a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The design integrates a dry shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat and EPT rubber. Engineered for systems rated up to 125 PSI, the pump architecture accommodates non-condensable particles through flush seal line taps. Pressure tappings for suction and discharge connections are integrated into the assembly to facilitate monitoring during operation.
The 25 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operates at 1750 RPM, incorporates Aegis grounding, and accepts 380-460V / 3PH power. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
