This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal containing a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the pumped fluid and the shaft.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 215T frame. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 power supply with across-the-line starting. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding, greasable bearings in the bearing frame, and a Woods-style coupler protected by a coupler guard. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan. This equipment meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and has a DOE PEI value of 0.95.
